Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity
SDF Number 246 Issued at 2200Z on 03 Sep 2010

IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 02/2100Z
to 03/2100Z: Solar activity was very low. Region 1105 (N18W22)
produced the only x-ray event of the period, a B1.8 flare at
03/1438Z. The three other regions on the disk remained quiet and
stable.

IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is forecast to be very
low with the chance for an isolated C-class flare for the next 3
days (4-6 September).

IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 02/2100Z to 03/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was quiet.

IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
forecast to be mostly quiet on day 1 (4 September), and quiet to
active on days 2 and 3 (5-6 September) due to recurrent coronal hole
effects.

จากที่เคยๆ สังเกตมานะ พอมันไหวแถวมาเรียน่า (หมู่เกาะมาเรียน่า ที่เป็นร่องลึกที่สุดในโลก) มันจะวิ่งมาตามเส้นต่อเพลต แล้ววิ่งเข้ากานจน์

เมื่อคืนนี้ มาเรียน่าไหวอีกแล้ว สงกะสัยว่ามันจะวิ่งๆ มาไทยวันสองวันนี้
แต่อาจระดับไมแรง (คาดว่า)

Another movie from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) shows the CME billowing into space. The cloud is not heading toward Earth, and no geomagnetic storms are expected from this blast. However, space weather could be in the offing for a different reason. A solar wind stream is heading for Earth and it could spark auroras when it arrives on Sept. 5th or 6th. NOAA forecasters estimate a 50% chance of geomagnetic activity at high latitudes. People in Alaska, Canada, Scandinavia and Antarctica should be alert for auroras in the nights ahead.

Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity

IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 05/2100Z
to 06/2100Z: Solar activity has been low. Region 1105 (N19W64)
produced a C2/Sf flare at 06/1459Z.

IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very
low to low.

IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 05/2100Z to 06/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field has been quiet to active. An isolated active
period occurred between 06/0300-0600Z. Solar wind, as measured at
the ACE spacecraft, indicated a 10 nT enhancement of the total field
with the Bz component reaching around -8 nT during the enhanced
activity interval. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at
geosynchronous orbit briefly reached high levels during the period.

IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be quiet for the two days (07-08 September), and quiet
to unsettled on day three (09 September).
